Story
According to temple legend, during the Sita Swayamvaram, a divine spark from the bow broken by Lord Rama fell at this sacred place and transformed into powerful spiritual energy. Sage Narada later advised Lord Parasurama to consecrate the deities of Rama, Lakshmana and Hanuman here. The Theyyams performed at the temple symbolically recreate scenes and characters from the Ramayana, making the festival a living representation of the epic.
